I saw a program on Discovery Health this week, and a guy complained of pain at a level of 2 out of 10 and then presented a broken ankle that he had encased in concrete - making his own cast. The skin was burned from the acids in the concrete and he had infection in it. I couldn't believe he wasn't screaming from the pain.kenjuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07342414519714356343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22979093.post-68096616420697075292010-03-30T22:11:12.267-06:002010-03-30T22:11:12.267-06:00I read some time ago that they are seeing in child...I read some time ago that they are seeing in children (and I'm paraphrasing) who have been overprotected with rubber playground surfaces , and neurotic protective play gear. .. and as a result have never say, skinned a knee or formed a scab... never develop a tolerance or ability to deal with pain. Some one who is currently 20 years old would have been a child in that overprotected generation.

Just a thought.TRShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09801686710086039781noreply@blogger.com
